DHOO’s love for music was first sparked at age 6 by his uncle, a former drummer committed to music. By the age of 14, he spent all his savings on a set of hi-fi stereos and bought his first pair of turntables and a mixer. He started hosting wild private house parties and by  17 his experience landed him his first DJ gig at a prestigious Night Club in Macau.

Influenced by Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode, DHOO’s musical journey really began when he moved to the UK in 1991. Legendary Clubs such as Club UK, The Heaven, Ministry of Sound, and live performances of 808 State, The Orb, and Orbital, opened up his doorway into the world of electronic music.

In 1997, he returned home with the pertinacious aim of bringing the party vibe into Macau. He joined efforts with a friend and founded Bermuda Productions, then Phuturo Entertainment, hosting some of the most acclaimed parties in town.

Having spent years experiencing different genres of electronic music and fine-tuning his DJing skills, DHOO’s sound remains steadfast to “HOUSE MUSIC”. His sets reveal his personal reflections during the course of self-explorations. DHOO can bring you on a cruise from a chilled, sexy, and melodic vibe to the other pole of deep, dark, and techy with a touch of minimalistic techno vibe. When one is surrounded by DHOO’s sets, you would find an unorthodox style that provides a distinct transcending experience each and every time he plays.

Relentless in the attempt of making a difference in Macau’s electronic music development, he founded MDMA – Macau Dance Music Association in November 2012, for which he is impelled to dispense musical insights locally.
